From The Desk of the Pastor

I would like to express my sincerest congratulations to our First Communion children and their families this weekend. The celebration of First Communions is one of my very favorite things to do as a priest. The reason why is that Holy Communion is the most intimate encounter we will ever have with Jesus in this life.

Our Parish Is Getting a New Deacon

Please save the date for Mr. Will Smith’s ordination to the permanent diaconate on Saturday, May 11th at 10:00am at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse.

This event is free and open to the public. Will recently received his Call to Order from Bishop Lucia, which means that he will become a deacon in service to our diocese and our parish. Please pray for Will as well as his family, as he prepares for sacred ordination to Holy Orders. If you are looking for transportation to the Cathedral for the ordination, please contact the parish office and leave your contact information with the receptionist.

Our parish family will be formally celebrating (soon-to-be Deacon) Will’s ordination with a reception on Sunday, May 19th after the 10:30am Mass.

It will be such a blessing to now have two deacons (Deacon Stan and Will) serving our rapidly growing parish family.
