From the Desk of Father Lima

“Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

In his letter to the Philippians, Saint Paul gives us a model for prayer. As my spiritual director in seminary used to remind us, “When it comes to prayer, we are all still beginners, we are all still in the first grade.”
