Thank you for joining us at our usual 11:00 am time for a new opportunity to prepare our hearts for the celebration of the Eucharist. Under the direction of our Director of Liturgical Music, Justin Yglesias, and the 11:15 am Mass Team, we have a chance to enter into a spirit of worship and prayer designed to open us more fully to the grace and beauty of the Mass.

Beginning this weekend, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will officially begin at 11:15 AM each Sunday. This adjustment not only enriches our spiritual preparation through 11:00 am praise and worship but also supports our religious education (CCD) families by allowing additional class time, easing their transition into Mass, and helping to alleviate parking congestion during our peak morning hours.

Let us continue to gather with joy and reverence, ready to receive all that the Lord desires to offer us through the liturgy!

A Call to Holiness and an Invitation to a Personal Relationship with Jesus

Jesus said: "Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while" (Mk. 6:31). We have been given the challenge to aspire to be saints in the "universal call to holiness". The way of sanctity for centuries was opened to us in developing intimacy with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament through Perpetual Eucharistic adoration.

The Church's mission largely depends on each person's personal relationship with the Lord Jesus and must therefore be nourished by prayer" (Benedict XVI).An intimate personal relationship with Christ is the "heart of Eucharistic piety" (God Near Us, Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger).

There is no more personal a relationship with Jesus than where He is in person in the Holy Eucharist, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

Un Llamado a la Santidad y una Invitación a una Relación Personal con Jesús

Jesús dijo: "Vengan ustedes solos a un lugar apartado y descansen un poco" (Mc 6,31). Hemos recibido el desafío de aspirar a la santidad en el marco del "llamado universal a la santidad".

Durante siglos, el camino hacia la santidad se nos ha abierto mediante el desarrollo de una intimidad con Jesús en el Santísimo Sacramento a través de la adoración eucarística perpetua, "La misión de la Iglesia depende en gran medida de la relación personal de cada uno con el Señor Jesús y, por tanto, debe ser alimentada por la oración" (Benedicto XVI). Una relación íntima y personal con Cristo es el "corazón de la piedad eucarística" (Dios está cerca, Cardenal Joseph Ratzinger).

No existe una relación más personal con Jesús que aquella que se vive ante su presencia real en la Sagrada Eucaristía: Cuerpo, Sangre, Alma y Divinidad.
