From The Desk of the Pastor

I would like to extend a personal invitation to all of the parishioners of Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish to join me for our annual Thanksgiving Day Mass on November 28th at 9:15am at Our Lady of the Rosary campus.

This Mass will be offered for our parish family in thanksgiving for the many gifts and graces that God continues to bestow upon us. My prayer is that all of us will take the time to gather as a community to offer our thanks to God in a special way by praying the Holy Mass.

Family Sunday Diversity Dinner

First Annual “Family Sunday Diversity Dinner” at Mary Mother of Our Savior Parish.

Please join us this Sunday, November 17th at 1:00pm to experience some of the best foods our parishioners have cooked up.

Perogies, chili, lentil soup, stuffed shells, seafood casserole, mini charcuterie cups, chocolate cake, mushroom stew and surprise dishes from Fr. Hage and Fr. Pawel are just a few of the contributions so far. This is a great opportunity to see the newly renovated DePaul Room and meet other members of our parish family. Even if you don’t bring a dish, you are still welcome.

Contact Denise DiGiorgio at (315) 796-2148 or Patt Guarnieri at (315) 749-8875.

Ceremonial Ribbon Cutting Event

Please join our parish family for the ceremonial ribbon cutting event for the newly renovated DePaul Room (church hall) this Sunday, November 17th at 1:00pm in the Seton Center.

Please take this time to pause and celebrate our parish’s great accomplishment in creating a beautiful new space for all.

Campaign for Human Development

The Second Collection envelope for next weekend, November 17, 2024 is for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.

The Catholic Church teaches the fundamental importance of paying workers a living wage that allows them to meet their basic needs. Cooperative businesses are co-owned by the employees, which gives workers greater say in how the business is run, including wages and salaries. Your support of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development helps workers become worker owners and to establish roots in their own communities.

Utica Newman Catholic Outreach

Death Café...Catholic Funeral Rites

The goal of the international Death Café movement is to provide a comfortable space for people to discuss issues around death and dying without any set agenda. We’ve found that quite often a topic will come up that is of particular interest. With this in mind, the Clinton Death Café has been hosting events centered on specific areas of interest.

Please join the Clinton Death Cafe Thursday, November 21st at 6:30pm until 8:0pm at the Seton Center.

Father Jason Hage will lead a discussion on Catholic Funeral Rites and how it helps the grieving process.

Liturgical Ministers Schedule

We continue to work on updating and correcting our list of Liturgical Ministers, so all parishioners trained as ministers will be included in future schedules. We will be working on the schedule from the first Sunday of Advent until the weekend before Ash Wednesday.

Please call Christine DeSanctis at the Parish Office at (315) 724-3155 ext 2233 (you can leave a message) if you have not seen your name on our current schedule or if you have any changes to your information.

Thank you for being so patient as we work to make our list complete.
