An Easter Message

Dear Saint Matthew Parishioners,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Risen Lord, Jesus Christ.

As we celebrate the joy and hope of Easter, I want to take a moment to reach out to each one of you with a heart full of gratitude and encouragement. Even within the walls that surround you, the light of Christ cannot be confined. The Resurrection reminds us that no darkness, no burden, and no past can overcome the mercy and love of God.

This Easter, I thank you sincerely for being part of the Saint Matthews Parish. Your presence, your prayers, and your willingness to seek God even in difficult circumstances are powerful witnesses to faith. You are not forgotten. You are not alone. You are deeply valued members of the Body of Christ.

Remember that the message of Easter is one of renewal. Just as the tomb was opened and new life was given, so too can your hearts be renewed each day. Christ meets you where you are with compassion, forgiveness, and a promise of transformation. No matter your past, God is always calling you forward into hope.

I encourage you to hold onto that hope. Let this season be a reminder that your life has purpose, that your story is not finished, and that God’s mercy is greater than anything you may carry.

Know that you are in my prayers in a special way during this holy season. May the peace of the Risen Christ fill your hearts, strengthen your spirits, and guide you each day.

With Easter blessings and gratitude,

Rev. Father James Arriola
